I agree with Stereogum here - it’s almost a fated match to put David Byrne with this track.
WatchWith the exception of ‘Born Free’, I am just not sure how I feel about M.I.A’s new tracks. On the one hand, an artist has to change and evolve… so I guess this is the path she is on, musically.
But there was something in ‘Galang’ and ‘Bucky Done Gun’ and ‘Paper Planes’ and ‘Boyz’ that I am just not feeling in these new songs...

It does make me wonder if Television covers truly work, though. I mean, I love ‘Marquee Moon’ a lot… but if someone else did it? I think it might turn me off.
