And I was right, you know? Totally worth the long drive (and the various side-trips I ended up making along the way).

Must have been meant to see Flock of Dimes tonight as they seem to be everywhere I look lately. And Jenn Wasner & Co were fantastically good. Got this on vinyl, too - well worth the $6. Oh! And I got to talk to Jenn Wasner for a second or two… That was pretty damn cool.

Then it was Sharon Van Etten time. She was glorious. Like really, really amazing. Plus, she performed my favorite song. And she had a lovely sense of humor, too.

Otherwise, the rain held back & I met a nice married couple (the husband is a huge SVE fan). Am tired but very pleased with the evening.

ps - just realized that Jenn Wasner is also a part of Wye Oak. Sweet.
