‘Lazy Afternoon Of The Jaguar’ by Turing Machine

Three years after the untimely death of drummer Jerry Fuchs and the subsequent hiatus of his dance-rock band Turing Machine, the remaining members have decided to reconvene and pay tribute to the great rhythm custodian by committing his final works to tape. The resulting LP, entitled What is the Meaning of What, explores various kraut/synth terrain with near-scientific levels of detail and clarity, often inducing mood and tone through carefully signposted builds and well-choreographed releases, while syncopated buzzes and bleats are amped to hit the eardrum to maximum effect. This is the sound of a band, and a man, whose heart beats to the tick of the clock, and how clear that sound is.
