M83 - Reunion
I was assailed by my own imagery as I watched the video for this song. I thought of Akira, of countless stories/films where children are at the crux of fate & the world, of how - no matter what the scenario - M83’s music always sounds like that most epic moment of every fantastic tale.
M83 is the soundtrack to all of our cinematic-like climaxes.
At long last, M83 has finally made their video for “Reunion” available for viewing. The video was directed by Fleur & Manu. As previously mentioned, the EP for the track includes remixes by Mylo, Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr., Sei A, The Naked and Famous, Polly Scattergood and White Sea. Available since yesterday via Mute Records.

If you can ignore the passing people, that is… Still, good sound & crowd reactions. And this is most definitely my favorite song from M83.

The promise I made to myself was that I would stick with M83 until they played ‘Kim & Jessie’ - imagine my joy when they not only played that song but ‘Intro’ from the new album and ‘We Own The Sky’.
