Acclaimed filmmaker and musician David Lynch recently released his debut solo album and has been causing a stir with the video for his new single, “Crazy Clown Time,” but my favorite Lynch (musical) release is probably his 2007 single Ghost of Love.

‘Polish Poem (re-imagined)’ by Chrysta Bell and David Lynch
After producing this climactic song from Inland Empire together they’ve gone ahead and made an album. It’s called This Train and will be available from September 30 (here’s a teaser and a making of video). But what’s also fascinating to see is that all the brunettes David gravitates to are of a highly specific type, look-wise; from Isabella Rossellini to Laura Elena Harring to Rebekah Del Rio and now Chrysta Bell. They more or less all look like echoes of the same exotic person!
